WBS - GETTING STARTED and FAQs - 1/4

Hello dipika,

Welcome to World Bible School!

GETTING STARTED
----------------
STEP 1 - Read Delighted to Meet You - 2/4!
STEP 2 - Read the Introductory Lesson 1 - 3/4.
STEP 3 - Open and Reply to the Introductory Lesson 1 Questions - 4/4.

If you did not receive all the above messages, please email WBS for assistance: students@wbschool.org

dipika, read the Introductory Lesson 1 - (3/4) and complete the Reply section (4/4) which contains the questions about the lessons. Use the "Reply" button to enable you to type your answers on the page and return them to WBS.

After WBS receives your answers to the Introductory lesson, we will put you in the queue for a Bible study helper. As soon as an opening is available in an online study helper's class, WBS will send you an email message with the name and email address of your Bible study helper. Because of the large number of students enrolling in the studies, the wait may be as much as two weeks. We appreciate your patience as we are eager to study with you.

It is a very special blessing we have been given to be able to go to our Father in Heaven for help, for thanksgiving, for forgiveness, for strength and for any other blessing or concern we may have. If you have a special prayer request, please share this with your WBS study helper.

If you experience problems returning your first lesson: http://www.wbschool.org/student/reply_help.htm

(Please be sure you do not send your first lesson back as an attachment.)

WBS - Delighted to Meet You! - 2/4

Welcome to the WBS journey!

dipika, I'm glad you're here. Though we haven't met I know you are searching for something. Perhaps you are simply curious about the Bible. On the other hand, you may be looking for some solid answers to some of life's biggest questions.

Centuries ago, Paul, one of God's servants, reminded an audience in Athens that the world didn't come together by accident. Paul explained: "and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times, and the boundaries of their habitation, that they should seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us"(Acts 17:26-27)

Our world is full of ideas. In fact one of our greatest challenges is trying to sort through the hundreds of messages about life that swirl overhead every day. Recently, a young lady said to me, "I have so many questions, but nowhere to go with them. I just wish I had some reference points for gnawing questions like: Why am I alive? Who is God? Sometimes, I feel like I've been dropped off in the Atlantic Ocean with no compass in the dead of night andits overcast skies!"

dipika, you are embarking on a journey that will open windows of insight. You will be amazed to find the Gospel is a personal message. It is the message of His pursuit of you and me. As you ponder thoughts, you may feel a verse tugging you in a new direction - a direction that may be contrary to what you have always thought to be true. There may be times when a teaching challenges you to rethink your life. Whatever you may encounter in your journey, stay your course! As you research and ponder, don't make the mistake of burying your questions. The WBS teacher you are going to be introduced to is a real person. I am confident they will be a refreshing source of help and guidance as you journey along.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened with the wonderful insights that are ahead. May God bless you with understanding of why He put on flesh almost 2000 years ago.

Prayers and blessings as you begin your journey!
